Main Duties

  • Manage and maintain Deployable CIS (communications and information systems) services.
  • Ensure systems are available, operational, and meet SLA requirements.
  • Manage Configuration Management and Change Management processes.
  • Conduct risk assessments and address equipment/software obsolescence.
  • Support planning and management of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) budgets.
  • Manage contractor support and service delivery.
  • Prepare reports and contribute to SLA reviews.
  • Support projects through development, delivery, and transition into service.
  • Lead, mentor, and coordinate technical teams.
  • Maintain system documentation, training materials, and procedures.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree 3 years relevant experience, or
  • 10 years relevant experience without a degree.
  • ITIL Foundation and Intermediate certifications (or equivalent newer ITIL certifications).
  • Experience in:
    • IT service management
    • Operations and maintenance of IT/CIS systems
    • Configuration Management
    • Change Management
    • Budget and resource planning
    • Team leadership and mentoring
    • Report writing and presentations

Desirable Qualifications

  • ITIL Expert / Managing Professional.
  • PRINCE2 Foundation or PMP.
  • MSP Foundation.
  • Management of Risk (MoR) Foundation.
  • Experience leading technical or operational teams.
  • Knowledge of military telecommunications and information systems.
  • Experience in international military/civilian environments.
  • Knowledge of NATO organizations (ACO/ACT).
