Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Linux servers (primarily RHEL environments)
- Install, configure, and support secure Linux-based infrastructure
- Implement and maintain system security controls (firewalls, access control, encryption)
- Develop and use automation and scripting (Python, Ansible)
- Support virtualized environments (VMware)
- Contribute to cyber security operations within NATO infrastructure
- Collaborate with international teams across multiple NATO sites
- Support system maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting
- Participate in DevOps-oriented environments and processes
Education Requirements

Working Conditions
- Location: Mons (SHAPE), Belgium
- 100% on-site role
- Normal office hours with:
- Occasional out-of-hours support
- Possible on-call for critical incidents
- Limited travel: ~2 trips/year to Brussels/Braine-l’Alleud
- Contract: June 2026 – December 2026
- Total scope: 836 hours (~5–6 months full-time equivalent)
