Objective & Scope of Work

The ICT Solution Engineer will support the ICTM Project Manager in the design, architecture, and secure implementation of ICT solutions for a business automation project based on ServiceNow. The role focuses on ensuring solutions meet technical and security requirements by producing architecture deliverables, supporting security accreditation activities, and coordinating with technical and business stakeholders. The consultant will contribute throughout the project lifecycle, from solution design to security testing and accreditation, ensuring compliance with NATO security policies and directives.

Duties & Responsibilities

Advise and provide technical guidance to the Project Manager on ICT solution design and architecture.
Design and oversee solution architecture throughout the project implementation.
Draft and review technical work packages for on-premises and cloud-based solutions.
Develop and maintain project-related technical and security documentation.
Prepare, review, and update Security Approval/Accreditation Documentation Sets (ADS), including:
- Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs)
- Security Approval/Accreditation Plan
- CIS Description
- Security Test & Verification Plan
- Other required security documentation
Support Security Approval and Accreditation activities to obtain authorization to operate.
Support security testing and verification activities.
Participate in project meetings with infrastructure providers, security authorities, implementation partners, and end-user representatives.
Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Produce bi-weekly progress reports for the NATO Project Manager.
Perform additional project-related activities as assigned.

Requirements

Professional Experience

Minimum 8 years of experience in ICT solution design and architecture.
Strong expertise in ICT security architecture and security accreditation/approval processes within high-security environments.
Demonstrated experience with application integration, enterprise data solutions, and implementation methodologies.
Experience designing and implementing both on-premises and cloud-based ICT solutions.
Experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
Experience in international organizations or government environments is considered an advantage.
Experience implementing ServiceNow solutions is highly desirable.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Management, Electronic Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline, or an equivalent advanced vocational qualification.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of enterprise ICT infrastructure and security services.
Experience with identity and access management (IAM) and modern software technologies.
Good understanding of solution architecture, systems integration, and cloud technologies.
Familiarity with project management methodologies, particularly PRINCE2.
Knowledge of NATO CIS security directives and accreditation processes is an advantage.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

Excellent technical writing and documentation skills.
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proven ability to organize and facilitate workshops and technical meetings.
Ability to communicate effectively with project managers, security authorities, technical teams, vendors, and end users.
