Cyber Security Engineer
Key Duties
- Design and support secure solution architectures (cloud and on-premises).
- Configure, integrate, test, and troubleshoot security products and services.
- Implement and maintain security controls and secure system configurations.
- Perform security risk assessments and recommend mitigation measures.
- Support investigations of security incidents and potential cyber attacks.
- Assist with information assurance and system accreditation activities.
- Gather, document, prioritize, and manage technical requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve requirements and support security projects.
- Produce technical documentation, reports, and architecture specifications.
- Perform other security-related tasks as required.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related technical field with 3 years of relevant experience.
- Alternatively, 5 years of extensive relevant experience without a degree.
Technical Skills
- Security monitoring, PKI, vulnerability management, and Identity & Access Management (IAM).
- Security product evaluation and research.
- UNIX and Windows system/network administration.
- System and network security, including Zero Trust and Data-Centric security architectures.
- Risk assessment and mitigation planning.
- Strong technical writing and reporting skills in English.
- Ability to present technical findings to technical audiences.
Desirable
- Experience working in international military/civilian environments.
- Knowledge of NATO structures and organization.

- Location: The Hague, Netherlands.
- Work Mode: Full-time, primarily on-site (limited remote work possible).
- Security Clearance: Valid NATO Secret clearance required.
