Product Portfolio Manager

Key Duties

  • Manage product portfolio:
    • Collect and prioritize requirements, support decision-making
    • Monitor risks and track KPIs/OKRs
    • Contribute to planning, reporting, and performance dashboards
    • Provide customer-facing and operational reports
  • Manage revenue and costs:
    • Develop and maintain product pricing
    • Oversee revenue streams and financial planning
    • Monitor and report on costs and revenue
    • Recommend actions to optimize financial balance
  • Manage resources:
    • Support planning and allocation of product line resources
    • Identify opportunities to improve resource efficiency
  • Support product development:
    • Assist in prioritizing product features and capabilities
    • Facilitate Agile product processes

Requirements (Skills, Experience & Qualifications)

Mandatory

  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum 2 years’ experience in product portfolio management (preferably in C4ISR, Cyber, or Education & Training).
  • Experience in customer-facing product/service management.
  • Strong skills in:
    • Business analysis, reporting, and Power BI
    • KPI and OKR tracking
  • Experience with:
    • Product funding and pricing
    • Risk management in complex environments
  • Certification in Agile Product Management (e.g., SAFe, Scrum).

Core Skills

  • Strong experience with Agile methodologies, Kanban, and JIRA (admin level).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (including senior stakeholders).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in:
    • Supplier and contract management
    • Negotiation and conflict resolution
    • Tools like ServiceNow, Oracle financial systems, and project/product management tools

Desirable

  • Project management certification (PRINCE2, PMP).
  • ITIL certification (v3 or v4).
  • Experience in international/multinational environments (military civilian).
  • Knowledge of NATO structure and responsibilities.

Additional Context

  • Location: Oeiras, Portugal (on-site).
  • Duration: May–December 2026 (990 hours).
  • Occasional business travel required.
  • Security clearance: NATO Secret.
