2025-0123 - Support to Develop C# Desktop System

Duties:

• Design, develop, and maintain C# WinForms desktop applications using DevExpress.

• Participate in the full Agile software development lifecycle including:

  • Sprint planning

  • Daily stand-ups

  • Sprint reviews and retrospectives

• Implement and maintain user interfaces and backend integrations.

• Create new and enhance existing interfaces (file-based and real-time).

• Conduct integration testing and technical coordination.

• Document code, features, and decisions.

• Conduct impact analysis and present solution options.

• Participate in daily meetings, workshops, and potential on-site events.

• Report sprint progress and outcomes both verbally and in writing.

• Use Azure DevOps for task tracking and version control.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent).

• 10 years as a software developer, including 5 years in C#.

• 5 years experience in WinForms development.

• Proficient in:

  • C#

  • Third-party UI frameworks

  • Async/multi-threaded programming

  • Integration patterns (JSON, XML)

  • Object-oriented principles

  • API development (consumer and provider)

  • Git version control

  • SQL Server (basic querying)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with:

  • Azure DevOps

  • Playwright or similar test automation

  • DevExpress (4 years)

  • JavaScript libraries (e.g., GoJS)

  • HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3

Soft Skills:

• Strong written and spoken English

• Effective presenter, team player, and collaborator

• Proactive with a growth mindset and ownership mentality

Other Requirements:

• Valid NATO SECRET clearance (or in process)

• Ability to work 100% off-site

• Adherence to NATO business hours (CET)

• Willingness to travel if needed (covered separately by NCIA)
